Returns and money back

For safety reasons, our policy doesn’t allow medicines to be returned, and we can’t sell returned medicines. The laws in the UK that guide the sale and supply of medicines say that medicinal products cannot be returned. Every pharmacy must follow these laws. Any medicine you don’t
need or want to use can be taken to a nearby drugstore, and they will safely dispose of it.

Changes to plans

If you bought something that will be sent to you by mail, you can cancel your order until the medication is dispatched. The contract between us is made when we send you the delivery confirmation message confirming that we have received and will process your order. After that date, you can no longer cancel the order. Please remember that our prescribers can issue prescriptions within minutes or hours of an order being made. If this happens, you will have to pay the £5 prescription fee but will be able to get a full refund on all other costs, such as the medicine and postage.

All orders are sent with a tracked messenger, and you may need to sign for them. The customer is given tracking information that can be used at any time to ensure that someone is there to accept the package. If no one is home to receive delivery, the goods may be left with a neighbour and cannot be mailed through your letterbox. If that’s not possible, the courier should leave you a note explaining how to reschedule delivery or pick up your order from a nearby depot.

You are in charge of setting up re-delivery. If you don’t pick up the items from the courier or if you don’t reschedule delivery or pick them up from a delivery centre after a failed delivery, your package will be sent back to us. Medicinal goods can’t be returned because of UK laws regarding the sale and supply of medicines. They will be thrown away after 14 days, and you won’t be able to get your money back. Customers are responsible for paying extra delivery fees when changing their delivery dates.

Not what was promised, broken or wrong

You will get a total return for the cost of the medicine plus any delivery fees that were applied.

We will credit or debit the card you used to pay with the money you want back. If the card expires before we can give you your money back, please call us and give us the information for your new card.

Before sending anything back to us, you should email or call us to let us know what you want to do.

You can return any clean and unused item to Express Chemist within 30 days. The only items that can’t be returned are P medicines and POMs. If you need help identifying your item, click here for more information. When we get the item back, we’ll refund the price of the item minus the cost of shipping and packing.

If the customer gets the goods and they are broken or defective, they will get their money back, plus the cost of sending and receiving the goods.

Please let us know within 7 days if anything needs to be added, broken, or corrected.

If you give us the wrong delivery address and the package is lost, damaged, or late, we can’t offer a return.

Products that need to be picked up at a local depot and then sent back to us by courier are only eligible for returns if they are picked up at the local depot. We must throw away the things because they can’t be sold again.
